VIEW-stil
" - We will be looking at ways to action and deliver ideas in a genderless, seasonless and peer group manner. Above all we will be researching and connecting systems by which to deliver our fashion concepts in a responsible and ecological way". Targeting FASHION: Womenswear, Menswear, Casual & Athleisurewear. VIEW magazines develop according to new market needs. VIEW magazine is a merged hybrid of Textile View Magazine and View2 magazine = VIEW including 4 issues per year. Publisher David R Shah and the team tell us "- we decided to create a modern colour-material-trend-magazine where fashion forecasting takes a broader grip."

CONTENTS VIEW 153
(Published January 2026)
We’ve all become unwitting casualties of passive consumption. The relentless scroll, the endless feeds, the profusion of choice - they pull us toward images, information and products we never intended to seek out. What follows is a quiet kind of fatigue: a fog that leaves us in a state of immobilisation. Are we ‘designed’ to be exposed to such an exhaustive overstimulation? How many of us, can ‘feel’ in the ‘here and now’?
In response, many of us are yearning for it to stop. This hyper accelerated technological change leaves us with destabilising stress and disorientation. We need engagement that feels grounded & tactile clarity of the analogue, objects and experiences we can touch, understand, and connect with directly. In an age defined by overstimulation, this desire is not nostalgic; it’s necessary.

01 Future matters
Smart solutions – as we start 2026, COP30’s failure to address fossil fuels - the primary driver of GHG emissions- underscores a missed opportunity for climate ambition.
The future of making – a structural, systemic rethinking of design, based on high quality materials can transcend predictable and reactive fashion trends.
02 Contemporary Fashion S/S 2027
Womenswear and menswear colours, styling, fabrics, knits, and accessories
We need engagement that feels grounded & tactile clarity of the analogue, objects and experiences we can touch, understand, and connect with directly. In an age defined by overstimulation, this desire is not nostalgic; it’s necessary.
