PANTONE VIEW COLOUR PLANNER S/S 2027

ESCAPE

Our palettes span huge distances from the depths of the sea to the depths of the universe, from ungravity to gravity, from a blurring and shifting, to the fixed and permanent, from stillness to cacophony, from organic to artificial. Although we have many colour families, they are not disruptive; they all communicate with one another to form one community. We see these palettes as a tool for positive transformation in bringing a new attitude to widespread design application. There is also a spirit of harmony and empathy in these colours, which are so needed in a time of disharmony and self-interest.

CONTENTS ESCAPE

WHITE NOISE

Four warming neutrals climb a scale from dark to light.  A chalky black moves gently to alabaster, then towards a putty white. This is interposed by a delicate, epidermal metallic reminiscent of well-worn and much-loved ballet shoes.

OXYGENATING

Our colopurs for ‘Oxygentating’ are grounded yet elevated through a contemporary lens that considers how light, texture, and emotion interact with the natural world.
Image: STUDIO BODDY

DISSOLVING

A tranquil escape into the unknown, a journey into unreality. In floating hues of dreamy serenity, we drift beyond gravity and self, freed from the confines of thought, time and weight.
Image: BUDDHA ELEMENTAL/UNSPLASH

ELSEWHERE

An integrative palette that seeks to connect with life through authenticity, embracing the beauty of what is lived and imperfect. Colours that shift from boldness to delicacy, revealing a quiet resilience that has left harshness behind to welcome a mature tenderness.

BEYOND BOUNDARIES

This is a family of colour that has escaped the rules. They are a disparate mixture of saturated brights, sherbet pastels, and calm neutrals. Hard to place they have a retro quality that is also very forward facing.
Image: NEEQOLAH-CREATIVE-WORKS / UNSPLASH

WANDERLUST

This chromatic range awakens a deep urge to discover, to cross the boundaries between the earthly and the ethereal, between the vastness of the cosmos and the hidden depths below.

RUPTURE

Our key colours rest on the counterintuitive idea of summer darkness. Together they shape the S/S ’27 season,  and are the base for a new colour mood that escapes our torpor and disorder to become a conduit for innovation.
Image: SANDY McCLENNAN

ARCADIA

Evolving past season's focus on off-kilter primary shades, this group lends drama to glossy hard goods and accent accessories as well as supple leathers and matte rubberised finishes.
