FROM THE EDITOR
Connecting with nature is a pivotal step toward life’s discovery. However, we are facing serious
environmental issues like never before. The rapid shrinking of the Amazon rainforest and ocean
pollution pose enormous threats to the well-being of our planet. Through LIFE IN COLOR, I aim to
bring depth and layers to my storytelling and exploration of the future through nature,life and color.
“Whisper of Earth” and “Underwater Wonders” call attention to the importance of preserving and
protecting wildlife in the rainforests and marine life by spotlighting their intricate and powerful colors,
patterns, forms, and textures.
Our human body is also part of nature. “Brown Sugar To My Heart” explores different shades of
brown commonly seen in our hair and skin pigmentation, igniting appreciation for our natural bodies
as well as nature itself.
The neutral color palette of “Abandoned Beauty” encourages us to embrace imperfections and
celebrate the beauty of authenticity.
“In The Mood For Blues” delves into promoting emotional well-being, allowing us to connect with
and express our emotions, and cultivate a positive outlook.
Meanwhile, in “Soul of Africa” the vibrancy translates hope, new possibilities, and the reimagination
of a bright future.
Through the surreal colors in “Sunset Poetry,” we immerse ourselves in the love, grace, and beauty
that life offers.
Lastly, “A Cinematic Life” captures the spirit of visual storytelling through the use of bold and subdued
colors creating a sense of nostalgic reality, a sort or escapism and adventure.
The essence of life itself is timeless.This trend book aims to share a directional yet timeless message
with new and renewed perspectives and incredible colors. More importantly, it offers a piece of poetry
dedicated to each theme to evoke sentiment and add depth to your ideas and creations.

01. BROWN SUGAR TO MY HEART
Brown is everywhere. From the color of chocolate to the color of earth and nature’s-rich soil, wood and
plants. It is also commonly seen in human hair, eye color and skin pigmentation, as well as in the animal
world. Not ordinary but luxury. Brown is an essential color of life. Shades of brown have a timeless
charm and attune to the simplicity in life.

02. WHISPER OF EARTH
The rainforest is a canvas filled with many diverse species of flora and fauna. The nurturing and lifegiving
ecosystem is a breeding ground for exotic plants, birds, insects, reptiles, amphibians,
mushrooms, lichens. From the intricate color patterns and distinctive features of poison frogs, pit vipers
to butterflies and beetles, the deeper we travel into the rainforest, the more inspirations we will find.

03. SOUL OF AFRICA
In recent years, there has been a growing interest and influence from West African nations in music,
art, and fashion. This incredible culture is eager to showcase to the world what it can offer—its rich
history, natural beauty, diverse cultures, home-grown talents, and much more. A continent full of new
possibilities, its vivid and vibrant energy infuses life with liveliness. Immerse yourself in the bold color

04. ABANDONED BEAUTY
The perception of beauty is shifting. In the sea of cookie-cutter designs and mass production which lack
originality or distinction, people are looking for something unique, something with personality.
Distressed walls have a wear-and-tear feel, sparking nostalgic elegance. Distressed clothing and
purposely stained handbags create a beat-up and “used” effect. No one texture or pattern is ever the
same. There is a story behind every single mark or scratch. Through this delicately muted palette, we
embrace and celebrate individuality and imperfections.

05. IN THE MOOD FOR BLUES
This monochromatic shade of blue is commonly associated with the expression of the deepest emotions
like sadness, grief, melancholy, depression, mood swings, which is all part of life. Blue tones with
accents of subtle yellow remind us that “feeling blue” is not forever. There is always a light that shines
through. It helps us see the other side of blue- positive and beautiful- just like the water and the sky.

06. UNDERWATER WONDERS
We are all familiar with the animals that exist on land and water. We can easily imagine what they look
like. What about creatures that live in the dark deep sea? The underwater is vast and largely unexplored.
Mysterious and full of surprises. There lies a hidden realm full of vibrant and bioluminescent fish,
jellyfish, octopuses, squids, crustaceans, nudibranchs, coral reefs, and other marine animals and
organisms. A dazzling palette of ocean blue, orange, glowing green and purple that leads us on a journey
to discover the jewels of the underwater world.

07. SUNSET POETRY
The sun sets below the horizon every day. The sky sometimes turns fierce in vivid hues of burning
orange, pink or violet. Sometimes it goes soft thanks to the delicate pastels. A true masterpiece. God is
the greatest painter of all. The sunset sky is a love letter written in a spectrum of colors. It is also a
reminder that it is time to “call it a day”. Prepare to reset and absorb all the grace and beauty around
us.

08. CINEMATIC LIFE
Life is composed of various components and storylines, much like a movie. Some see it as boring and
predictable, while others view it as an exciting journey full of twists and turns. The difference is that an
audience merely sits and watches, while a true producer writes their own script, directs, and becomes
an actor in their own movie—a movie with a harmonious blend of bold and subdued color schemes that
creates a sense of nostalgic reality, a blend of escapism and adventure
