PANTONE VIEW COLOUR PLANNER A/W 2026-27

INTRODUCTION

The desire to have what we do not comes in many forms often contradictory, irreconcilable, and paradoxical: the indulgent as opposed to the virtuous, abundance as opposed to absence. The vulgar as opposed to the elegant. We seek the rational - a desire to eat - and the irrational - a desire to explore Mars.  We harbour a desire for the extreme: extreme speed, extreme beauty, extreme passion, but we also yearn for very basic things, human contact, a flower unfolding.

This two-faced nature of desire, born from our deepest longings, and our day-to-day needs and outlined in our introduction, also finds expression in our A/W 2026/27 colour stories. In an uncertain market, the name of the game is to present something the consumer feels comfortable with but at the same time takes them a step forward and provide excitement. We need a balance between the safe and the enticing.

To satisfy a desire is a complicated thing. More than ever, we must protect desire as an intimate dimension, inseparable from our autonomy and dignity, and reconnect with our true motivations.

The two-faced nature of desire, born from our deepest longings, and our day-to-day needs as outlined in our introduction, also finds expression in our A/W 26/27 colour stories.

CONTENTS

DESIRE FOR KNOWLEDGE

The glowing light of Amber Gold and Lemon Icing shines beyond the horizon, igniting our curiosity with warmth and radiance. This is a journey from the depths of obscure darkness to the illuminating light of hope.

DESIRE FOR SIMPLICITY

Soft, almost ethereal colours lead the chromatic atmosphere of the future—a future free from toxicity and excess, and stripped of overwhelming details.

DESIRE FOR PASSION

Reds, oranges, pinks and buffs come together to shape a dynamic and poetic vision of possibilities where desire and instincts spill over into passion.

DESIRE FOR VIRTUE

A story of integrity, restoration and purity, creating a counterweight to the seemingly seductive worlds of vice and indulgence in a practical and restrained palette, but not devoid of energy.

DESIRE FOR THE EXQUISITE

We strive to achieve the perfection we see in the animal and plant kingdom. Colour is layered in combinations that demand up to seven shades, lending itself to only high-quality work and execution.

DESIRE FOR PLEASURE

Our colours pull and push, dancing on the edge of harmony and tension. There’s a thrilling vibrancy as soft sweetness meets bold sharpness—a visual taste of pleasure that tingles with intensity.

DESIRE FOR CONTACT

This is a story of touch expressed through colour and texture. It is one of our deepest desires, to connect with others and to feel their warmth.

DESIRE FOR INDULGENCE

Our fresh, nourishing colours demand slow exploration and appreciation as they invite us to rediscover the richness and regenerative power of nature, in every leaf, every shoot, every captured ray of sun.
